The Detroit Tigers are apparently looking at pitching in the MLB Draft.
The team has selected Matt Manning from Sheldon (California) High School.
Manning is 6-6 and 185 pounds and the son of former NBA power forward Rich Manning. While Manning is a two sports star, he is expect to chose baseball over basketball.
Manning has a fastball in the mid-90s, as well as a power curve and a developing changeup.
He has committed to Loyola Marymount for college.
