Michigan State started their 2019 Big Ten slate with a convincing win at Northwestern to cement head coach Mark Dantonio as the winningest coach in the programs 127-year history with 110 career victories.

"It brings everybody together whose been apart of this program and hopefully everybody has a moment to take in with that," Dantonio said.

Now the Spartans (3-1; 1-0) will need to make sure that their attention turns to the next one, and that the offense finds consistency.

The Hoosiers (3-1; 0-1) have maintained an offense that can score, and the Spartans must avoid a offensive letdown that we saw after the Western Michigan game against Arizona State.

"We played very well in the red zone, I think our quarterback played well, and when your quarterback plays well you've got a chance," Dantonio added.

The homecoming game will kick off at 3:30 from Spartan Stadium on Saturday.
