(WXYZ) -- During an appearance on NFL Network's "Good Morning Football" Wednesday, Buccaneers cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting talked about the celebration following Tampa Bay's Super Bowl LV win.

"It's something I've waited my whole life for," Murphy-Bunting said. "Coming from a smaller high school, going to a smaller college, you don't really get moments like that, that the whole world is watching."

Murphy-Bunting's mother, Kim Murphy. joined him on the field during the postgame celebration at Raymond James Stadium.

"For me to see her, she's one of the first people I saw, once the confetti came down and they were allowed to let fans on the field," said Murphy-Bunting. "Just seeing her run to me with the excitement that she had...she was hyped. And she actually got to hold the (Lombardi) trophy a lot longer than I did, she got all her pictures with it...she sent 'em to me and I'm a little jealous."

Murphy-Bunting also said during the interview he plans to visit Michigan as part of his offseason plans.
