The Detroit Pistons have reportedly signed LiAngelo Ball to a one-year, non-guaranteed contract.
The Athletic's Sham Charania reported the deal first. He's the brother of Lonzo Ball with the New Orleans Pelicans, who was the No. 2 pick in the 2017 draft, and LaMelo Ball, who was drafted third overall in 2020 by the Charlotte Hornets. His father is LaVar Ball.
Ball, 22, is 6-foot-5 and is a shooting guard and small forward. He was expected to play with the Oklahoma City Blue in the G-League last year, but he only played one game before the season ended due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
