The Tigers have no cases of coronavirus in their organization.

That's good news.

Al Avila told reporters on Wednesday the Tigers are doing everything to keep it that way.

"We're in touch with these guys on a daily basis," he said.

Avila talked to local reporters on a conference call, and said the organization has emails that go to players with a checklist of health information.

If a player doesn't respond, Avila said the team has been making a point to reach out to check in.

Major League Baseball's season remains delayed amid the coronavirus pandemic.
