LANSING, Mich. — Nick Moon has been named to the USL League One Team of the Week for Week 17 after his performance against South Georgia Tormenta FC on Saturday.
Moon was active down the flank throughout, recording one assist, two key passes and completing 38 of 48 passes as Ignite FC finished level with Tormenta FC on the road.
Rafa Mentzingen and Grant Stoneman are the only LIFC players to have earned Player of the Week honors in 2019, while eight Lansing players have received Team of the Week honors this regular season: Xavier Gomez, Kevin Coiffic, Ivo Cerda, Stefan Cleveland, Tumi Moshobane, Mentzingen, Stoneman and Moon. Moon joins Coiffic and Stoneman as LIFC players to have been named to the League One Team of the Week three times in 2019, while Gomez is the only LIFC player to earn the honors four times this campaign.
