The Detroit Red Wings announced on Sunday they have sent forward Anthony Mantha back to the Grand Rapids Griffins ahead of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Mantha, 21, played 10 games in his first stint in the NHL, where he scored two goals and picked up an assist during his time.

Earlier in the week, Detroit recalled Joakim Andersson from Grand Rapids, which means he will be staying with the team during the playoffs.
