Red Wings F Johan Franzen gets political on Instagram

Red Wings forward Johan Franzen posts a lot of (very funny) jokes on his Instagram. Now he's getting political.

Johan -- who is from the social democracy of Sweden -- watched the vice presidential debate and posted about it on his social media account using a screenshot of Tim Kaine and Mike Pence.

It's a departure from the usual pictures of his family, children and jabs at his Red Wings teammates. 

 

It was actually refreshing to see a guy in a blue tie that acted as an adult! Until I started reading about him, another women hater that actually wants a pregnant women with a fetus with so significant anomalies with no chance to survive to be forced to carry the pregnancy to term!! How freaking evil is that, and he signed that law this year. Also he signed a law allowing restaurant owners not to serve gay couples (hello 1963) last year!! What a perfect racist running couple we got this year! #nevertrump #isthisreallyhappening btw if you don't like what I'm posting feel free to unfollow, these r my beliefs and I don't care if you don't agree, that said feel free to comment something that's worthy a response and I will do my best to argue my case. Who knows, maybe I'll start posting funny crap again but my doc says this is a good way to beat pcs anxiety #equalityforall
