The Detroit Red Wings are considering legal action after their logo was used by some white supremacist protesters at Saturday's violent rally in Charlottesville, Va.
Pictures and videos posted on social medial show several protesters carrying signs with the logo. Some had even altered the spokes in the wheel to resemble Nazi "SS" symbols.
A statement posted on the team's Facebook page Saturday reads, "the Detroit Red Wings vehemently disagree with and are not associated in any way with the event taking place today in Charlottesville, Va."
It went on to say, "the Red Wings believe that hockey is for everyone and we celebrate the great diversity of our fan base and our nation."
