As kids, so many sports fans collect trading cards.
They used to come with bubble gum, and people always reach back to memories of putting them in their bicyle spokes.
Dylan Larkin, the Red Wings 19-year old rookie, has memories with trading cards, too.
The only difference? He has his own rookie card now.
WXYZ sports anchor Brad Galli got his hands on Larkin's first Upper Deck Young Guns rookie card, and surprised the recently named All-Star with the card after practice.
The real surprise was this: Larkin said he had not been able to get his hands on one yet.
WXYZ Chief Meteorologist Dave Rexroth joked on 7 Action News, telling Brad he may have made the wrong move. Larkin's card will certainly be worth a lot someday soon.
