The Lions have signed running back Joique Bell and cornerback Asa Jackson to the active roster.
The team also put tight end Brandon Pettigrew on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list, and put defensive end Armonty Bryant and cornerback Quandre Diggs on the Injured Reserve list.
Bell played with the Lions for four seasons (2012-15). In those four years he scored 22 touchdowns. Bell played in four games for the Chicago Bears this season before being released on Oct. 24.
Jackson started his NFL career with the Baltimore Ravens. He was their fifth round draft pick in 2012. This season he has been on the Ravens practice squad.
