The Detroit Lions have hired Dom Capers as a senior defensive assistant on Dan Campbell's coaching staff.

Capers served in the same role for the Minnesota Vikings in 2020 and the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2019.

Capers spent 2009-17 as defensive coordinator for the Green Bay Packers, and had head coaching stints with the Houston Texans and Carolina Panthers.
