This offseason looks a little different for the Detroit Lions. It's their first without Calvin Johnson, the first (for many) being fully healthy and it's also the first full summer with offensive coordinator Jim Bob Cooter.
Lions tight end Eric Ebron said all the guys are excited to start the season with Cooter. "He keeps it real," said Ebron.
Cooter is also said to be more of a risk-taker than the man he replaced. Cooter himself said he's ready to get to work and see how quickly the offense can learn what he's throwing at them during OTAs and the upcoming minicamp.
Cooter said these early summer workouts will end with plenty of homework, and that he'll expect to see great execution come training camp in August.
