(WXYZ) — (WXYZ) -- The Detroit Lions and Pro Bowl center Frank Ragnow have agreed to a contract extension, according to a report from ESPN's Adam Schefter.
NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports the deal is worth $13.5 million per year, which would make Ragnow the highest-paid center in the NFL.
Detroit exercised its fifth-year contract option on Ragnow April 28.
Ragnow, the Lions' first-round draft pick in 2018, is entering his fourth NFL season. He’s started all 45 games he’s appeared in, and was named to his first Pro Bowl following the 2020 season.
