Detroit Lions, Martha Ford donate $1 million to Harvey flood relief

The Detroit Lions are the latest of many organizations and celebrities donating money to help Hurricane Harvey relief efforts in Texas and Louisiana.

The team announced that owner Martha Ford and the Ford family donated the money to the American Red Cross on behalf of the team.

Houston Texans DE J.J. Watt started an online fundraiser on Sunday which has currently raised more than $10 million.

After setting a goal of $200,000 on Sunday, he continued to raise his goal until they hit the $10 million mark on Thursday.
