Darius Slay returns to practice as Lions prepare for Vikings

Lions cornerback Darius Slay -- who missed last week's loss to the Houston Texans -- was back at practice with the team Wednesday. Slay was out last week with a hamstring injury.

The Vikings are ranked second to last in total offense, so a lot of the focus this week may be on Detroit's offense -- specifically their offensive line.

The last time Minnesota played Detroit, Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford was sacked a career-high seven times.

When asked if he feels they're better equipped to deal with the Vikings pass rush this season, head coach Jim Caldwell said "They give you problems... We'll see if our answers work."
