Jake Van Tubberger scored 20 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as Grand Valley State beat Northwood, 62-45, Thursday night.
Isaac Gassman added 14 points for the Lakers.
GVSU (7-1, 14-2) is now two games ahead of Davenport and Sagniaw Valley State in the GLIAC South Division.
The Lakers head to Saginaw Saturday to play the Cardinals.
