It's tough to believe, but before Tuesday night, Ian Kinsler had never won a Gold Glove award.
That has changed.
The Tigers second baseman won the American League Gold Glove award at his position.
He's the first Tigers 2B to win the award since Placido Polanco in 2009. Kinsler missed out on the honor the last two seasons.
Justin Verlander, James McCann, and Jose Iglesias were also nominated.
