J.D. Martinez returned to the Tigers on Wednesday night, pinch-hitting during the team's game against the Chicago White Sox.
Before fans could stop cheering for his name being called to hit, Martinez took the first pitch he saw to deep left center.
It was Martinez's first at-bat since June 16.
