It was much debated.

Some coaches hated it.

Others applauded the move.

Michigan football perhaps started a new trend by uprooting from the wintery mix of Michigan and using spring break a little bit differently as they practiced at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.

Jim Harbaugh defended the move on twitter and publicly, saying nothing was wrong with the idea, and was right.

However you feel about the issue is one thing, but the players were the ones raving about it as they returned to practice on campus.

"We gelled, we came together," offensive lineman Erik Magnuson said. "At the end of the day it was something that was really important to our team."

"You don't want to be up here in the cold, so it was a great experience down in Florida," linebacker Mike McCray added. "We had a lot of free time as a team so we had some great bonding experiences and it was a lot of fun."
