Connor Cook is returning to Michigan to work with the Lions this offseason.
Detroit signed the former Michigan State quarterback to a futures reserve contract on Tuesday.
Cook will work with the team after spending 2018 on practice squads with the Carolina Panthers and Cincinnati Bengals.
The Oakland Raiders drafted Cook in the fourth round in 2016. They released him before the 2018 season.
