ALLEN PARK, Mich. (WXYZ) -- The Detroit Lions have placed wide receiver Bruce Ellington and safety Charles Washington on injured reserve.
Both players are dealing with hamstring injuries.
In a corresponding move Saturday, the Lions signed wide receiver Chris Lacy and cornerback Dee Virgin from the practice squad to the active roster. Detroit also signed wide receiver Deontez Alexander to the practice squad.
