Jim Harbaugh joined Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher for an Orange Bowl press conference on Wednesday night.
Michigan's head coach shared his first memory of seeing the ocean, joining his dad's team for the 1976 bowl game in Florida.
It was also the first time he saw a palm tree.
"I remember we worked for hours to try to get a coconut out of the tree," he said, recalling a memory with his brother John.
"We tried climbing, then we tried climbing and getting sticks. We tried shaking it, and then finally, we just threw rocks at it 'til it came down. Then we got it, then we didn't know how to open it. We tried to open it, and we got it open with rocks and a curb. And then we ate it!"
