Michigan played three quarterbacks in the season-opening win over Middle Tennessee State.

Jim Harbaugh explained why Shea Patterson and Dylan McCaffrey played significant time throughout Michigan's opener. Harbaugh talked with WXYZ's Brad Galli in the weekly 'Inside the Huddle' conversation.

He also said freshman RB Zach Charbonnet could have gotten some more passes, because he's shown that ability in practice.
