Michigan didn't have a game last week, but Jim Harbaugh designated the seven days away from the scoreboard as 'Improvement Week.'
In Harbaugh's weekly one-on-one conversation with Brad Galli, he explained his busy week assisting with a high school chain gang, and what ultimately convinced him to help out.
Plus, with the Wolverines carrying No. 1 rankings in a variety of defensive categories, Harbaugh dives into his affinity for defensive coordinator Don Brown.
"This week is one of the scariest weeks of the season," Harbaugh said.
Wilton Speight and the Wolverines face Illinois this Saturday. Lovie Smith's team has only two wins, picking up its first Big Ten victory of the season against Rutgers last week.
"The two scariest weeks come the week after the bye, and the week before the bye," Harbaugh explained.
