St. Clair Shores - Next Hockeyville USA?

According to KraftHockeyville.com, Hockey communities across the United States are competing against one another for the title of "Kraft Hockeyville USA 2016", and St. Clair Shores has already been nominated 32 times. The St. Clair Shores Civic Arena is within reach of being a top ten rink nominated!

Winning the contest comes with some pretty cool prizes: Hosting a NHL Pre-Season that will be broadcasted on NBCSN as well as $150,000 in arena upgrades!

Michiganders can vote for the St. Clair Shores Civic Arena by sharing their stories which show how much hockey, their teams, and the rink mean to them and the community at www.KraftHockeyville.com

The ten finalists will be selected by three rounds of public voting, with consolation prizes for those who do not win "Hockeyville USA".

After the first round of voting (April 12-14), the top four communities will go to the next round. The remaining six will each receive $10,000 in arena upgrades. After round two (April 19-20th), the top two finalists will go on to the final round. The fourth and fifth place finishers will receive $25,000 in arena upgrades. The third round will be (April 25-26th) where a "Kraft Hockeyville USA" will be named, and the runner-up will recieve $75,000 in arena upgrades.
