(WSYM) — WATCH: Our FOX 47 Neighborhood Games of the Week bring us to Grand Ledge for the final week of the high school football regular season. East Lansing beats Grand Ledge 35-21 to win the CAAC-Blue championship outright. It was a back-and-forth game early with Grand Ledge returning the opening kickoff for a touchdown. East Lansing would strike back with a 52-yard touchdown of their own. Junior running back Jace Clarizio was unstoppable on the ground. He rushed for three touchdowns in the win. The Trojans won their first conference title since 2020.

Lansing Sexton vs. Lansing Eastern

After Lansing Sexton suffered its first loss of the season last week to Portland the J-Dubbs came out on fire tonight. In the first quarter, Sexton scored four touchdowns including a rushing touchdown for senior quarterback Joseph Pizzo from one yard out. Pizzo had a big night through the air and on the ground. Sexton won 40-0.

Lansing Catholic vs. Pewamo-Westphalia

Pewamo-Westphalia took complete control early against Lansing Catholic scoring 21 points in the first half. The Pirates dominated in the second half, winning 41-6. That is eight straight wins for P.W. who is in line for a home playoff game next week.

Lansing Waverly vs. DeWitt

DeWitt has been red-hot winning its last five games after beating Lasning Waverly 43-13. The Panthers had another strong running attack and the defense got key stops including an interception that led to a touchdown.

Jackson vs. Haslett

Haslett held a 15-8 lead in the fourth quarter before the rain made things interesting. Jackson forced a fumble to get the ball back in their own territory, but the Haslett defense got it right back on the next play. They tacked on a field goal for good measure to win 18-8.

Charlotte vs. Fowlerville

It was Senior night at Fowlerville as they hosted Charlotte. A defensive battle early with both teams locked up at 8-8 heading into the half. But, Fowlerville came out on top 29-20.

The high school football playoffs start next week, we'll bring you all the action next Friday night at 10:45.
