Michigan wide receiver Donavan Peoples-Jones and defensive lineman Michael Dwumfour are both battling serious injuries, Michigan Football Head Coach Jim Harbaugh said speaking to the media on Tuesday.

According to Harbaugh, both injuries are "more serious than we previously thought," and that neither player has practiced throughout the winter or the spring.

For Dwumfour, he suffered a torn plantar fascia before Michigan's bowl game, and Peoples-Jones has a soft tissue injury.

2019 would be Peoples-Jones' third year with the Wolverines. He caught 47 passes for 612 yards and eight touchdowns last season, while also adding 25 punt returns for 250 yards and one touchdown.

Dwumour is entering his senior season with Michigan and he had 19 tackles and two sacks in 10 games for the Wolverines last season.

Harbaugh also said that wide receiver Nico Collins had surgery before the spring but is rehabbing well.
