Joshua Langford Out Indefinitely

EAST LANSING, Mich. — Michigan State men’s basketball Head Coach Tom Izzo announced at his Tuesday press conference that senior guard Joshua Langford (Huntsville, Ala./Madison Academy) will be out until January with a stress reaction in his left foot and will be re-evaluated at that time.

Langford played in the first 13 games of the 2018-19 season before being sidelined. He was third on the team in scoring with 15.0 points per game, fourth with 3.6 rebounds, third with 2.3 assists, third on the team in 3-point field goal percentage (40.3 percent) and third in minutes played (28.4/game).

In 83 career games, with 75 starts, Langford has averaged 10.2 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists, while shooting 45.1 percent from the floor and 40.7 percent from 3-point land. He has scored 847 career points.
