If you're not into mainstream sports, but love competition then grab your clubs, racket and sticks because Lindsey Granger has three obscure sports you never knew you wanted to play until now.

1.  Professional Mini Golf

This fun pastime got serious back in 2008 when the world MiniGolf Sports Federation formed and sanctioned championship events. They take it very seriously that there's even a Mini Golf Masters Tournament.

2.  Pickleball

Invented back in 1965, it combines tennis, badminton and ping pong, with a little whiffle ball thrown in. You use a wooden paddle to hit a whiffle ball and play on a modified tennis court. This sport has come out of the shadows and is starting to go main stream. The 2017 Pickelball US Open was even televised on CBS.

3.  Octopush

It’s just like normal hockey, but without ice and fights and in a pool. It's called octopush in Europe and underwater hockey here in the United States. 6 person teams use short sticks and compete to push a lead filled puck to the goal. This is one you’ll want to dive into.
