The NBA season in full swing and even if you're not into the game, there are things you can learn from it. Lindsey Granger spent time with Harlem Globetrotters’ “Buckets” Blakes to get three life lessons from bball that we can all use in our day-to-day life.
1. Signature Shot
People shoot differently. When you're trying to achieve your goals, you must shoot your shot. You can’t shoot anyone else's because that's your uniqueness that you must offer to the rest of the world.
2. Catch the Rebound
If you’re shooting and you miss, and you keep missing, then you’re going to keep trying. That's what rebounding is all about, never giving up.
3. Use the Assist
Nobody can do everything without help and in basketball the assists are really important. How do you relate using the assist to real life? You need people around you and that’s what the assist is all about.
