Wife and husband Lynne and Dan Sowers will host a fundraising event for Leuko Freaks on April 21st Sowers Chiropractic Center in Mason.
Leuko Freaks is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising money for patients and families dealing with Leukemia.
Lynne and Dan are calling this day "patient appreciation day," where for $15 patients can get an adjustment and free refreshments. The $15 made from each patient that day will be given to Leuko Freaks. This is Sower's first large-scale fundraiser for Leuko Freaks.
Lynne Sowers said the goal is to raise at least $1,000.
"We have just seen first-hand how hard (cancer) is for a person to go through," Lynne said, "The idea of helping these people really means a lot to us."
