The Adam D. Nevells Memorial Fund is in its seventh year and as of the 2016 distributions has provided over $24,000 total through individual scholarships & grants to the areas Adam held most dearly: Academics, Music, Athletics, Boy Scouts, and his Church (OHS Athletic and Band Boosters, Boy Scout Troop 125, & Martin Luther Chapel to support a variety of community youth programs).
As the years continue to pass the challenges continue to grow in getting Adam’s Memorial fund to a sufficient level to support long term the planed annual awards. The annual Wrestling Tournament and this Annual Golf Outing remain the two largest contributors to making Adam’s Memorial Fund self-sustaining. The Fund is currently at a little more than 60% of the way to the minimum goal set.
The Adam D. Nevells Memorial fund continues to grow through the ongoing donations from the community he loved and who he touched and impacted so profoundly. Thank you for your contributions and support of Adam’s Fund. This continued support will ensure that Adam’s spirit will live on in the lives his memorial fund touches and helps the dreams and ambitions the fatal car accident stole from Adam come to fruition through the individuals and groups Adam’s Fund supports.
In addition to supporting the Annual Golf Outing, contributions can be made payable to the Capital Region Community Foundation with the notation “Adam D. Nevells Memorial Fund” on the memo line or in accompanying note and also online at: www.crcfoundation.org
