Charlotte High School bowling teams go to...

Posted

The Charlotte High School bowling teams competed this weekend at Continental Lanes in regional competition. The boys’ team finished a respectable 5th out of 17 teams. They did not finish high enough to move on to the state meet, but did have a couple of individual bowlers who qualified to bowl at the individual finals. Conner Fox and Kaileb Bowen finished 7th and 8th at the individual regional and will now bowl on Saturday, March 5th at the state finals. Conner only finished 6 pins behind 6th place and Kaileb finished just 4 pins behind his teammate.

The girls’ bowling team finished in 2nd place at the regionals as a team. They will once again go as a team and compete in the team competition and possibly bring home a state title. The team state competition is on Friday, March 4th. Maddy Burdick and Brooke Noecker both qualified for the individual competition on Saturday, March 5th. Maddy finished 4th in the regionals and only 7 pins behind the 3rd place finisher. Brooke finished 5th only 11 pins behind Maddy. Good luck to all the Charlotte Bowlers at states this coming weekend.

For anyone that would like to go show your support to the Orioles, the State meets will be held on March 4th and 5th at Super Bowl in Canton, MI.
