We're Open: Griffin Claw Brewing Company continues to get creative

<div class="RichTextArticleBody"> <div class="RichTextArticleBody-body"><p>In the spirit of positivity and looking on the bright side of things Andrea Isom paid a visit to a Metro Detroit company that continues to get creative to stay open for business.</p><p>And they’re sharing what’s working for them with other establishments too.</p><p>“Don’t give up!” that’s the spirit of the entire crew at Griffin Claw Brewing Company in Birmingham.</p><p>Since COVID-19 hit, the team has come up with various ways to stay afloat and serve the people of Metro Detroit.</p><p>“Not only are we still producing beer, we’re producing sanitizer and upped our production of spirits,” says Kyle Vandeventer, Director of Sales. </p><p>In addition they’ve created cocktail kits. They’ve also expanded curbside pick-up for food and all the other things on the menu.</p><p>Now, they’re doing something else brand new: Offering fresh produce - bountiful fruit and veggies boxes.</p><p>“It’s just full of stuff. It’s just nice to have that healthy option to help your immune system. Diets really important, especially now,” says Christopher Lasher, Director of Marketing. </p><p>Bothe Kyle and Christopher believe constantly keeping the staff forward thinking, adapting and evolving is key.</p><p>“Whether it’s small, big, large whatever, you have to continuously do something different. Or we’re not gonna be here tomorrow. You can’t sit still. We won’t sit still,” says Kyle.</p><p>And they offer this advice to other businesses looking to reinvent themselves in these times, as well.</p><p>“Think about what would help you. What’s convenient and safe for you? And try to offer that, if you can. Every new idea we take seriously. So, if someone comes and says maybe we should this, maybe this would be great, we think, how could we do that,” says Christopher. </p><p>So, they plan to continue doing what they’re doing.</p><p>“And I’d suggest that for anyone else. In reality we’re a community.
