LANSING, Mich. — This holiday season, Impression 5 Science Center[impression5.org] is encouraging STEM exploration at home with unique education gifts, toys and stocking stuffers from Impression 5 To Go[impression5.org].
Impression 5 To Go is Impression 5 Science Center’s store, that offers gifts for everyone from toddlers, to aspiring scientists and engineers, to those still “young at heart.” Every dollar spent at the science store goes back into Impression 5 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and supports access to informal science education for all.
“STEM education creates critical thinkers, increases science literacy, and enables the next generation of innovators,” said Erik Larson, Executive Director of Impression 5. “We want to encourage STEM education at home with our Impression 5 To Go gifts.”
Gifts from the Impression 5 To Go store include a Westminster Twister Light Color Changing Vortex Lamp, Astronaut Food Ice Cream Sandwich - Cookies and Cream, Mad Scientist's Goo and much more.
To create a better social distanced shopping experience, merchandise has been spread out. There are increased cleaning and disinfecting procedures in place, and everyone over the age of two is required to wear a face covering or mask while shopping.
Impression 5 To Go shopping is available during the center’s open hours. No appointments are required to shop. Customers can shop in person or call and reserve products using the Impression 5 To Go online store[pointy.com], and arrange for curbside pickup or pick up in the store.
