If you've ever wanted to try golfing on ice, we have great news for you. the St. Ignace Visitors Bureau announced the U.P. Ice Golf Scramble for 2020, taking place in March.

The two-day event will run March 6-7 in Moran Bay in Lake Huron, right across from St. Ignace.

It will kick off on Friday with a glow ball "closest to the pin" contest at dusk with glow balls provided, and then a 9-hole or 18-hole competition on Saturday. That depends on the ice cover. If it's only 9 holes, you'll play it twice, guaranteeing 18 holes.

According to the bureau, teams are encouraged to use colored golf balls and put their clubs in a sled. The cost is $40 per person for a 2-person team, and registration is open now until Feb. 29.
