There is a chicken pox outbreak in Michigan.

The state department of health and human services says there have been 239 cases through April.

That's a 57% increase from last year.

The state is encouraging everyone to get vaccinated.

The virus that causes chicken pox can cause an extremely painful condition called shingles later in life.
