LANSING, Mich. — Jamie Robinson, along her with husband of 35 years, Scott Robinson, are the proud owners of three businesses in Mason, Michigan: Darrell’s Supermarket and Hardware; Bestsellers Bookstore & Coffee Co.; and The Vault Delicatessen. Jamie worked for her family’s business, Darrell’s Supermarket and Hardware, her whole life before her parents decided to sell in 1996. To carry on her family’s tradition, Jamie and Scott decided to take over, making Jamie a third-generation owner. Not long after, in 1997, Jamie and Scott opened Bestsellers Bookstore & Coffee Co., its location moving in 2001 to incorporate a full-service coffee shop. In 2008, the couple opened their deli and catering event space, The Vault. Along with being an entrepreneur and multi-business owner, Jamie is a Mason Chamber Board Member, Chair of the Mason Downtown Development Authority, and mother of three. Jamie finds joy in giving back to her community, promoting independent businesses and hosting “Find Waldo Locally in Mason” each July.
