LANSING, Mich. — Dr. Linda Wright is an audiologist who works with patients of all ages in a practice setting and in local schools (Clinton & Shiawassee counties). She is passionate for her work because of her solid belief that communication is vital to a person’s quality of life. She opened Advanced Audiology in 2003 to provide DeWitt, Lansing, East Lansing and surrounding communities with a reliable and honest resource for their hearing needs.
Even with her own practice, she has continued to serve her community in unique ways. Dr. Wright is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) and the Michigan Academy of Audiology (MAA), and serves as an Advisory Panel Member for Michigan Hands & Voices, a non-profit support group for families with children who are deaf.
Dr. Wright earned her Bachelor’s (1997) and Masters (1999) degrees from Michigan State University, and received her Doctorate of Audiology from the University of Florida in 2002. She strives to continue her education in advanced digital technologies to give her patients the best care possible.
For six semesters, Dr. Wright taught the Advanced Hearing Aid course to Doctorate level students at Central Michigan University. She continues to take on the challenge of teaching clinical skills to university students through their intern placements at Advanced Audiology. Dr. Wright enjoys how the students keep her on her toes with up to date testing and the latest technology. Proper testing, fitting and counseling related to hearing loss and hearing aids is vital. At Advanced Audiology there are no tricks, only honest answers about hearing loss and hearing aids. You will always experience friendly and personal care.
Her mission is to provide exceptional trusting care to her valued patients and to help them improve their quality of life through the ability to communicate effectively. Every patient gets the individual care and counseling that is vital to hearing success.
In her free time, Dr. Linda also enjoys her life as a loving wife, caring mother, Girl Scout leader, and avid reader.
