A motorcyclist died in a crash on eastbound M-59 around 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday in Rochester Hills, according to the Oakland County Sheriff's Office.
Police say a 63-year-old Warren resident was driving her 2005 Harley Davidson motorcycle in the center lane when a 2012 Hyundai Accent, driven by a 21-year-old Sterling Heights resident, changed lanes and struck the motorcycle.
The motorcyclist was transported to Troy Beaumont Hospital, where she died from her injuries.
Officials say the driver of the Hyundai was not injured in the crash, although her airbags did deploy. The motorcyclist was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
Police say alcohol and drugs are not believed to be a factor in the crash.
