Police have recovered a cell phone belonging to a woman who went missing on her way to a post office in Detroit last week.
Zainab Muhammad, 34, was last heard from on Friday, February 24th. Her mother told police Zainab called her around 10 a.m. to say she was on the way from Windsor to the main post office branch on Fort Street in Detroit.
Later Friday night, her mother tried to call Zainab but couldn't get a hold of her.
A few days later, on February 28th, someone turned in Zainab's cell phone to the 3rd Detroit Police Precinct. That person told police the cell phone was found in a field near Grand River and Trumbull.
Zainab is in good physical and mental condition.
She's 5'3", 150 lbs., with brown eyes and black hair. Police say she has a tattoo on her right hand with the name "Perry" and a tattoo on her lower left leg with a picture of the sun with a face.
