Using your hands is so last year. Jared Cotter has three new wearable items that'll let you click pix, track your fitness, and even track your kids, without lifting a finger.
1. FrontRow
This camera hangs from your neck, but the image stays rock-steady thanks to electronic image stabilization or EIS. With it you give viewers a front row seat to your life. It will record for up to 8 hours and then you can transfer it to your smartphone. It also allows you to livestream hands-free on Facebook, YouTube and Twitter. You can snap one up for around $400.
2. Fitbit Charge 2
Track your heart rate, steps, workout and then pause for a deep breath. While you track your fitness this new version of Fitbit lets you keep step with the world. It has call, text and calendar alerts. Don’t forget to match your outfit with the latest interchangeable bands. It’s available now for around $150.
3. AngelSense
Designed with special needs children in mind, the goal is to let parents to breathe easier when their kids aren’t home. As soon as your child leaves home you’ll start getting text messages telling you where they are and allow you to monitor the route in real time on their app. You can even listen in for increased security. The tracker is free but the service starts at around $45 a month.
