Two people were shot and wounded in a shooting involving Michigan State Police troopers.
Westbound I-96 at Farmington Road in Livonia is closed due to the police investigation.
Police say the initial shooting incident took place at a FedEx facility located at Amrhein Road in Livonia shortly after 3 a.m. Monday.
Responding Livonia police officers saw a suspect vehicle fleeing the scene and pursued the vehicle. The high-speed chase was going eastbound on I-96, made a U-turn and headed west. The chase ended around 3:40 a.m. in the area of WB I-96 and Levan.
An MSP trooper fired shots at the suspect who was still in the suspect vehicle. Police say the original victim was also in the suspect vehicle.
