BIRMINGHAM, Mich. - Vice President Mike Pence is expected to be in Michigan on June 15 to support Bill Schuette's run for governor.
Pence will attend Schuette's 'Make Michigan Win Again' fundraiser event at the Townsend Hotel in Birmingham. The event is scheduled to start at noon.
In a statement to The Detroit News, Schuette said:
"It is tremendous that Vice President Mike Pence is coming to Michigan to help my campaign for governor. It will be an exciting day for Michigan and one more reason why we are ahead and we will win on primary day in August!"
Pence last visited Michigan in May. He was a commencement speaker at Hillsdale College.
