This massive floating waterpark could be coming to Lake Michigan as early as June.
German-based Wibit has proposed building the waterpark at Whihala Beach in Whiting, Ind.
Wibit would anchor the floating parts to the bottom of the lake to make obstacle courses that include slides, tunnels, half pipes and trampolines. The company has built floating waterparks all over the world, including one in Florida.
Planning for the $300,000 investment is in the final stages.
If approved, the park would be open in time for the summer season. Prices are expected to be $10 and up for day passes.
