Uber is testing a new feature that would let some drivers set their own prices.
Drivers with the ride share company could charge up to five times the amount Uber would for a ride.
Right now, the feature is just being tested in California.
It comes as the state implements a new gig economy law that requires companies to treat workers as employees.
