University of Michigan police are investigating the sexual assault of a male student.

In a Crime Alert, officials say the incident happened at around 10:00 p.m. on April 11.

The male student told police he was walking with friends in the 200 block of Fletcher St. where they were joined in conversation by two other college-age men, who invited him to a large house party.

The student told police he was given a soft drink he was told was mixed with alcohol.

When the student woke up the next day, he had little memory of the previous night. He had also suffered injuries associated with being sexually assaulted.

Later testing indicated the student had been given Benzodiazepine.

He has a dark, clear complexion, dark short hair, a well-formed beard on his chin and a mustache. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, he smelled of cologne and went by the name of "Darnell."

The second suspect is described as a Caucasian male, 5'9" to 5'10" with a thin build. He is believed to be 21 or 22-years-old, with blonde hair parted on the left with a swoop. He is clean shaven and was last seen wearing bright green basketball shoes. He went by the name of "Sam."
