A 14-year-old is in critical condition after being pulled from the Huron River this afternoon.
According to a spokesperson for the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office, the teen was underwater for 40 minutes. The teen was taken to the hospital while CPR was being performed.
According to a spokesperson for Huron Valley Ambulance, the second person was taken to the hospital in stable condition. The 14-year-old was in critical condition taken to U-M Mott Hospital.
It happened just after 4 p.m. near Zeeb Rd. and Peters Rd. Chopper 7 was over the scene showing kayaks in the river along with a man carrying a tube.
