The trial for a man accused in the murder of a former University of Michigan professor is scheduled to begin Monday.
Isom Hamilton is facing multiple felony charges in the death of 77-year-old Robert Sharp.
Sharp was found with multiple stab wounds inside his Ann Arbor home last June.
Investigators say Hamilton broke into Sharp's home twice before allegedly killing him.
Hamilton's trial is a bench trial, meaning a judge will decide his fate instead of a jury.
